Who the program is for... The Sage-ing Leader Certification Program provides a personally enriching, in-depth knowledge of sage-ing philosophy, tools and practices to individuals interested in teaching the sage-ing work to others. Participants develop teaching and presentation skills and learn how to put together a successful program and advice on business development and program marketing.

What the program involves... Sage-ing Leader training is a one year program that includes:
- Initial training weekend led by two experienced faculty members.
- Year-long internship under the guidance of an experienced mentor.
- Minimum of 15 hours of experience leading sage-ing sessions within ones community.
- Final weekend of intern presentations, certification and celebration .

What the program costs... Program cost is $2000*. It includes:
- Tuition for initial and final training weekends.
- Sage-ing Curriculum Resource Guide and additional class materials.
- Fee for Mentor assigned to guide the intern in developing sage-ing programs and facilitating skills.
- Several conference calls between and with the other interns and the faculty.
- Oversight by the Training Coordinator.
- Scholarships are available. Inquire at time of application.
*Transportation to initial and final training weekends, lodging and some meal expense is additional.

Who may apply... Individuals who have completed the following prerequisites may apply for admittance to the Sage-ing Leader Certification Program.

Benefits of certification... Certified instructors have credibility and respect in the marketplace. Certification ensures that individuals teaching the sage-ing work have demonstrated that they are qualified to do so through demonstration of knowledge of both sage-ing philosophy and the tools of sage-ing practice. Certification requires acceptance of a Code of Ethics which protects Sage-ing Leaders, those they teach, and the integrity of the work as a whole.
